Whew! We feel like we just stepped off a long train ride this Christmas. We traveled to Cincinnati, had Christmas and a funeral (Aunt Peggy Seiffert) and then kept traveling on to Indianapolis for the annual Christmas Conference with 2000 college students. What a ride. And we still have Toledo Christmas to go. But we walked in the door and Robby wanted us to set up his train in front of the Christmas tree. It was one of those moments every dad dreams of with his son; the excitement, the oooh's and ahhhh's from Robby and the tree in the background made my husband teary as we soaked in the scene.
Happy New Year. May it be full of new life, redemption and a thawing of the chilled places of the heart.
