Walking down lazy Main Street in Bowling Green this morning was so lovely. I love small-town America on holidays. The traffic is slow and sparse. The coffee shops have lollygaggers in them. The wind was subtle. The sunshine was cozy. Life is sweet. Daddy and Robby enjoyed a moment over coffee at our local bakery for breakfast. Not many plans (when does that happen?) today. Just enjoying the family day. Thanks, Peter McGuire, for all your work for labor rights. The day off (a small representation of all your hard work) is much needed.
