Toddler Tips?

So....the days can get long, right? Anyone with me? He's up at 7:30 and down for a 1-3 nap. 5 hours open for fun. Then Daddy doesn't get home until 6pm. Another 3 hours. And it's winter. What do you do with your 19 month old? -Library, errands, playing, making stuff, play-dates.....

Here's our mobile we made for above his bed on a very snowy, cold afternoon. He colored on the lion which was a really nice touch. Would love your ideas.....
